Pioneers did not have cars that could drive them all the way to Oregon. Instead they had covered wagons. Research covered wagons, how they were made and record 5 interesting facts about them. Also, research items that Pioneers took with them out west. Choose at least 5 items that you feel are most important in the journey on the trail and explain what they were used for during the journey. Finally, make a covered wagon from the link below. Use classroom items that will be provided by your teacher. Also make the items you chose to take with you on your journey out west. Be prepared to share what you have learned about covered wagons and your items to the class!
